Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA): Professional Development, FOSS
Lead three-day inservice for base teachers using new science program and resources. Immersion experience with focus on: How FOSS addresses the three dimensions of the NGSS; Student engagement in science and engineering practices through first-hand investigation; Embedded teaching strategies including science notebooking, content reading, assessment, and argumentation; and Effective implementation strategies for hands-on, inquiry-based learning in the science classroom.

Maury County PBL Champions: STEM/PBL Coaching, Discovery Education
Coach elementary teachers in Columbia, TN to develop high quality STEM lessons and Problem Based Learning experiences. This includes a focus on bringing out natural and organic connections to the real world, developing STEM instructional practices within teachers, and having teachers share model lessons with others in their cadre, school, and district.

Talbot County Digital Leader Corps (DLC): Instructional Technology Coaching, Discovery Education
Coach elementary teachers in Easton, MD through implementation of personalized learning between full-day professional development sessions. Sessions focus on technology integration, lesson feedback, and staff-wide professional development led by the DLC team.

Miami-Dade County Science TechBook: Instructional Support, Discovery Education
Provide in-classroom support for middle school teachers using Discovery Education’s Spotlight on Strategies, Science TechBook, and Streaming Plus services. Collaborate with science teachers to create integrated science lessons and activities aligned to Florida Standards and M-DCPS pacing guides. This includes a series of visits focused on demonstrations, co-teaching, and lesson planning using the 5E Instructional Model.
